Departing from Burwick Harbour, South Ronaldsay the trip will incorporate a coastal tour to see birds and seals. Tour duration is between 2.5 - 3 hours.
You will sail in an ex RNLI lifeboat and go either to the Pentland Skerries or Swona. The Pentland Skerries are a group of four unihabited islands lying in the Pentland Firth, northeast of Duncansby Head and 2.5 miles south of South Ronaldsay. By far the largest of the islands is Muckle Skerry, home to a lighthouse and over 500 breeding pairs of Puffins. There are also Terns, Gannets, Bonxies, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Razorbills, Guillemots, Shags and Cormorants. The Islands have a colony of common and grey seals.
