We begin our journey in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town in the exciting location of St Andrews square, a place which holds great significance in the economic success of Scotland’s capital city. From here we make our way downhill into the residential area of the city and it is here we will see some of Scotland’s most grand townhouses including the previous homes of some of Scotland’s most famous characters.
As we progress further we will come to the iconic and beautiful street of Circus Lane. This cute residential street offers fabulous photograph opportunities so make sure your camera is fully charged. From here we shall pass through into the vibrant area of Stockbridge, which offers a wide range of independently run cafes, delicatessens and stores which you will have the opportunity to become well acquainted with.
We shall then take the breathtaking walk through to Dean Village, one of the most photographed locations in Edinburgh, and once you arrive you’ll be able to see why. It is at this point our tour will be concluded and your guide will welcome any questions about either the tour of the city of Edinburgh itself.
