Itinerary

Day 1:

Meet mid-morning in Inverness and head straight out to look for Bottlenose Dolphin and Red Kite around the Moray Firth before heading south into Strathspey where we will spend four nights in our idyllic mountain lodge.

Days 2-4:

Explore the rich habitats of the Spey Valley and Cairngorm massif. Here we hope to encounter Mountain Hare, Dotterel and rare Arctic alpine plants on the peaks of the Cairngorm plateau whilst the sheltered Caledonian pine forests of the Spey Valley hold Red Squirrel, Pine Marten and Crested Tit.

Day 5:

Today we leave the wide forested landscapes of Strathspey and head for the rugged Hebridean coast and our base for the next four nights on the Isle of Mull.

Days 6-8:

The Isle of Mull offers an incredibly diverse array of habitats and with it some spectacular wildlife. We will explore the rugged coast and glens of this magical island in search of Golden and White-tailed Eagles, Otter and Red Deer. A full day will be spent on the Hebridean Sea on the lookout for marine megafauna.

Day 9:

We will take the scenic route from Mull back to Inverness, where the tour will end.
