The Courses on offer:

Cruden Bay - Play one of the top 100 courses in world plus its famous 9 x hole "St.Olaf" course. Established in 1899 the main course offers an internationally famous golfing experience – old fashioned links golf at its best – on one of the best links courses in Scotland. Originally designed by Tom Morris of St Andrews and Archie Simpson in 1899 and re-designed in the 1920’s by Tom Simpson and Herbert Fowler. Cruden Bays 4th hole is considered one of the toughest and top Par 3's in Scotland and the views from the 9th tee will guarantee to take your breath away. Consistently ranked in the Top 100 Golf courses in the world and a must play for any avid links fan.

Peterhead - only 11 miles North up the coast from Cruden Bay. Nestling in the dunes above the point where the River Ugie and the North Sea meet you will find Peterhead Golf Club, one of the finest links courses to be found in Scotland. The club, founded in 1841, is the 18th oldest golf club in the world. The original nine-hole course was laid out by Willie Park Jnr, with extensions to 18 holes being made in 1908 and a second nine-hole course added later. This is an original links course and its layout owes very little to man's andiwork, as its creator used the natural contours of the land. Indeed, it is one of the most testing venues for a round of golf in Scotland.

Newburgh - only 10 miles South along the coast from Cruden Bay. Newburgh on Ythan GC is a Championship Links founded in 1888 and is located where the mouth of the River Ythan meets the famous North East coastline. The course is characterised by undulations and hills, with elevated tees and greens requiring a range of shot making. The inward nine demands accurate golf from tee to green and is the epitome of the traditional Scottish links course. The course now plays 6423 yards, Par 72.

Accommodation:

This 2 x bedroom fully furnished flat sleeps 4 -6 people. Located in the heart of the small village of Cruden Bay - this large and comfortable 1st floor accommodation overlooks the Championship Course of Cruden Bay. You are only 5 mins walking distance from the local Chemist, Newsagents, 3 x pubs and 2 x hotels with lovely food all year round. Slains Castle is situated nearby and is easily walkable within 15 mins. The beach and harbour of Cruden Bay is also within a 5-10 minute walk. This is a great place to base yourself for a short relaxing golf break.
