The Best of Scotland in a Day

Get up close and personal with Scottish Wildlife and Nature, explore a Clan Castle and an Iron Age museum, marvel at stunning Loch-side scenery and enjoy a Wee Dram at a local Distillery! This tour showcases the best that Scotland has to offer.

Leaving your accommodation, we start your tour at Highland Safaris, where you can learn about local wildlife, visit the deer park and maybe even feed the Red Deer.

Next, we visit the impressive 16th century Castle Menzies, the seat of the Clan Menzies, which hosted Bonnie Prince Charlie on his way to the Battle of Culloden in 1746.

We travel to the Loch Tay area, where we will stop for a lunch break. After lunch we visit the famed Fortingall Yew that stands in the local church yard – a mighty tree over 3,000 years old and Europe’s oldest living resident - and the Iron Age Crannog. Enjoy the spectacular views of Perthshire across Loch Tay.

We then travel to Aberfeldy Whisky Distillery, home to Dewars, to enjoy the World of Whisky Tour. Discover an authentic Scotch experience in the heart of the Highlands and hear the extraordinary tale of John Dewar & Sons.

We start your return journey via Grandtully, for a brief visit to the famous Highland Chocolatier; paradise for the chocoholic and a great end to your day out!
