The Cairngorms National Park is the largest in the UK and my personal favourite. It holds Munros, Lochs, Forests and some breeds of wildlife that you can only find here! It is impossible to see it all in one day but I am going to show you some high

*Pick up from accommodation in Inverness and WOOSH! Here we go – down the A9 for the ‘Highest Brunch in the country’! We are climbing higher and higher up the Cairngorm Mountain – where we leave the happy wagon at the bottom and hop on the ‘Funicular Railway’ going 3500ft above sea level for the most fantastic views! You can book a walking tour at the top (let me know and I can pre-book this for you) or just simply sit on the balcony soaking in the view, take breath taking photos and enjoy the delicious food served up by Hamish and his team of happy chappy’s in the kitchen.

We will head back down the mountain around 12.30 and trot off to the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre – where you can feed, walk with and learn about these magnificent animals native to the Cairngorms.

After all that walking – I think it’s time for a dram? (Drink) so we are ‘nipping’ back up the A9 to Tomatin Distillery for a tour and a heart-warming whisky!

The only way to end a Cairngorm tour – is in the happiest pub in the Cairngorms, so we’re off to see Gareth at The Cairn in Carrbridge for a good ‘hearty home cooked’ meal and toast our day.

Guests staying at The Cairn can relax and guests staying with Scott and Jadine at An Sealgair will be dropped off at Station Road.

*Those who are not staying in Carrbridge will be taken back to their accommodation in Inverness.
