Day's Itinerary:
Boat trip to Inchmahome, the island priory on Lake Menteith, former Celtic retreat of St Colman (closed between November to the end of March).
- Walk to Bracklinn waterfalls and upper glen. Grading: moderate ascent up valley with some steps and care to be taken on wet rocks near waterfalls. Distance: 5.25kms. Altitude: 157m.
- Picnic Lunch - please bring your own.
- Visit Loch Ard for a tea and cake stop.
- Walk the loch shores through the woodlands beside Loch Ard. Grading: Easy along forest tracks. Distance: 6.75kms. Height Gained: 160m.
