Welcome to The Bigger Tour. Whisky and wildlife trips available from Glasgow. Fully licensed and insured. Be driven and guided through the Southern Uplands looking for wildlife. A packed lunch can be arranged.
Be driven and guided through the Southern Uplands stunning scenery in the South of Scotland whilst relaxing looking for wildlife.
First a visit to a Distillery on the river Clyde can be arranged (additional charge) https://www.theclydeside.com/ or a meander through the Transport Museum (free admission) next door https://www.glasgowlife.org.uk/museums/venues/riverside-museum. If neither of those appeal we can walk along the Clyde looking for wildlife and learn about the history of the City.
Pick up point George Square/North Hanover Street by Costa Coffee.
Once through Glasgow we will enter the Southern Uplands visiting scenic spots in the Lowther Hills and Nithdale looking for wildlife such as Red Squirrel, Golden Eagle or Deer.
A packed lunch can be arranged additional charge applied .
Binoculars and spotting scope included for the duration of the tour. Wildlife identification sheets and books available for use during the day.
Hot drinks, shortbread and a 'wee Dram' included.
This tour will depart Glasgow George Square
09:00 returning around 17:00.
Cost of tour from £75.00 per adult.
