Book with Confidence. Reserve your spot today with no deposit payable till January 2021 Our new four-night adventure will take you on a real journey of discovery through the hidden Hebrides and to secluded locations for a truly wild experience.

From our first moment, we step back into the history of more than six thousand years to unravel the fascinating journeys of previous settlers to these remote islands. Our excellent adventure for those who love wildlife, nature, hiking, photography and ever-changing landscapes as the season's pass and the beauty of the light as it caresses the land transforms a simple view into a stunning one. It is the magic of the Hebrides.

Day 1

Arrive in Stornoway and be met by your guide for the start of your wild Hebridean adventure. We leave the small town of Stornoway and make our way out across the vast moorlands towards the west coast and discover a wealth of history, archaeology and culture along the way. We visit a traditional Harris Tweed Mill; a renovated Thatch Village last occupied in the 1950s and then get close and personal to the one of oldest Stone Circle in Britain, Callanish.

We then make our way along the dramatic coastline to our accommodation for three nights where we settle into our small family-run guest house next to the ocean.

Day 2

Our day begins with a short drive around the local vicinity down narrow roads and onto the Atlantic edge. We step out onto glorious beaches and for the brave dip our toes into the refreshing waters that bathe these islands. We then make our way for our morning adventure and a scenic boat trip around the area. We look out for sea eagles, otters and wild seals and other seabirds on this beautiful private journey. Our local guide will give you a wealth of knowledge on this unique environment and how local people have interacted with nature here for thousands of years.

On our return, we will toast our adventure before we head for lunch in a local eatery.

The afternoon sees us taking to the coastlines and heading out to view some of the most dramatic seascapes in the Outer Hebrides before returning to our accommodation and some free time to explore at your leisure this tranquil setting.

Included Dinner

Day 3

Today (weather permitting) we head back to the ocean and board our private vessel for a dramatic sail along the coastline of Lewis and Harris to our deserted island and a chance to become a castaway for a day. Meander through deserted villages and past abandoned homes where once music, laughter and the Gaelic language was heard daily. Wander high into the hills and take in the dramatic views that are truly breathtaking.

Picnic lunch on the island

Following lunch, more free time to wander at your leisure before we make our way back along the coastline and into a dramatic sea loch created during the last ice age some twelve thousand years ago. We then make our way back to our accommodation and have a small tipple of local gin to toast another. wonderful day

(NB: if weather unsuitable for our boat journey we will provide an alternative experience)

Included Dinner

Day 4

Our journey today leads us back toward the beautiful harbour town of Stornoway, where we settle for one night. Once here we check into our accommodation and then head out to explore the capital of the Outer Hebrides. We take a wander through the town learning about the fishing industry, the opium barons and the herring girls and much more before heading for a beautiful walk into the Castle grounds.

Lunch on own

After lunch, we visit Museum nan Eilean to gain one last look at the artefacts and the history of these islands before some free time to enjoy this quaint little town and a chance for some local shopping.
