Burwick is a hamlet on the south coast of the parish South Ronaldsay.
Burwick is a small village with a harbour on the southern tip of South Ronaldsay.
A passenger summer-only ferry crosses the Pentland Firth between Burwick on South Ronaldsay and John O’Groats. It is pretty flat and offers an intricate network of cycling roads, the South Ronaldsay Cycle Route gives more details. The sea cliffs along the coast from Burwick are very popular with birdwatchers.
East of Burwick is the Tomb of the Eagles which hosts the Isbister Chambered Cairn as well as a visitor centre and gift shop which sells light refreshments.
