Cardrona Forest is located close to Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders.
Cardrona is a Forestry Commission Scotland woodland of mixed conifer. The forest offers a variety of woodland walking options with lovely views up the Tweed Valley towards Glentress Forest. Popular waymarked walking routes of varying lengths include the Burn Trail, the Kirkburn Trail and Wallace's Trail. The forest is also popular with cyclist and there and opportunities to spot local wildlife. There is also a lovely picnic area, car parking and toilets, set in a secluded spot.
From the centre of nearby Peebles, take the B7062 heading east for approximately three and a half miles. The entrance to Cardrona forest is on the right.
