Carinish is a hamlet in the south west of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides.
If you are travelling north, Carinish will be the first settlement you come across after crossing the causeway into North Uist.
Carinish is widely known for the Carinish Stone Circle and the remains of Teampull na Trianaid (Church of the Holy Trinity), thought to be founded in the late 1100s.
