Centred round two traditional greens, Denholm is a village on the River Teviot, five miles north of Hawick. It is well known for its past stocking, knitting and quarrying industries.
The village has a thriving community life, local shops and a number of local businesses. There is a range of accommodation available within the area.
There are a number of local walks nearby and the 18-hole Minto Golf course lies just north of the village. This is a pleasant base for exploring the Scottish Borders towns of Melrose, Jedburgh, St Boswells and Hawick.
