Denny is a small town 6 miles (11 km) west of Falkirk which lies south of the River Carron.
Denny is a former centre of heavy industry with several coal mines, paper mills, iron foundries and brickworks. It is located near the main motorway arteries to Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as the Little Denny and Drumbowie Reservoirs.
Denny Town Centre's has undergone a £7.8m development of 10 shop units, a community library and improved car park . It has a number of new and existing businesses trading from these new bespoke units. There's lots to see and do in Denny, from play parks to Wellsfield Farm Activity Centre (on the outskirts) There is also a good selection of accommodation, including B&Bs, self-catering lodges and a campsite located in and around Denny.
