Eilean I Vow, known also as Eilean a' Bhò, is one of the small islands in Loch Lomond.
Situated opposite Rubha Bàn on the mainland and north of Inveruglas Isle, the site was once a stronghold of Clan MacFarlane. There are still the remains of their castle on the island which replaces the one on Inveruglas Isle.
As an example of a medieval island building, and for its historical association with the MacFarlane chiefs, the island is protected by the Scottish Government and treated as of national and international importance.
