Near Bettyhill on the north coast, Farr Bay is a stunning white sandy beach with plenty to see and do. The breathtaking scenery hosts an abundance of wildlife including, otters, seals, golden eagles and thriving seabird colonies. The beach is perfect for water sports, including kayaking, surfing and body boarding. There is a horse trekking centre which provides beach rides and the nearby village of Bettyhill was a main victim of the Highland Clearances.
