Getting there by railway:- Rail stations at Perth, Birnam, Pitlochry are the closest. Bus or car hire then required to access Glen Lyon and the village of Fortingall.

Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow or Edinburgh airports head north to the city of Perth. Follow the A9 trunk road to Ballinluig and then take the A827 west to Aberfeldy. Travel north west from Aberfeldy on the B846 to reach Keltneyburn, then turn off up the single track Glen Lyon road to reach Fortingall.
Fortingall is located approximately 9 miles from Aberfeldy using this route.

Getting there by ferry:- From the port of Rosyth head north to the city of Perth. Follow the A9 trunk road to Ballinluig and then take the A827 west to Aberfeldy. Travel north west from Aberfeldy on the B846 to reach Keltneyburn, then turn off up the single track Glen Lyon road to reach Fortingall.
