Situated in the heart of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, the forest stretches from Loch Lomond in the west to Callander in the east taking in Glen Finglas and Milton and covers an area of 4,400 ha of new or naturally regenerated woodlands as well as a range of habitats including moorland, wetlands, grasslands and montane scrub. It is though that the last one will bring significant benefits to biodiversity and provide enough habitats for species to adapt to climate change.
