Harray is great base to explore Orkney's Neolithic Heartland as Skara Brae, the Ring of Brogar, Maeshowe and the Standing Stones of Stenness are all a short drive away. Another great visitor attraction in Harray is the Corrigall Farm Museum, which offers the visitor an insight into Orkney farming from as early as the 18th century at this farmstead.
The Loch of Harray is one of the best fishing lochs in Scotland, as well as being home to thousands of wildfowl in the winter. In fact birdwatching is very popular as there are several RSPB reserves in the area including the Brodgar Wetlands and Cottascarth and Rendall Moss.
