The Isle of Skye is Scotland's largest island in the Inner Hebrides. You can reach Skye over a bridge connecting the mainland to the north west coast.
Skye has a wealth of natural scenery, providing some of Scotland's most iconic scenic spots, including the Old Man of Storr, the Quiraing and the Cuillin. Travel back in time to when rival clans fought against one another and fierce Jacobite battles took place. There is also evidence remaining from village crofting during the Highland Clearances.
There are a range of towns and villages that you can go to relax and explore the restaurants, shops, pubs and bars, including the town of Portree which lies at the centre of the island.
