Kincraig and its neighbouring communities of Alvie, Insh and Feshiebridge lie at the heart of the Scottish Highlands within the Cairngorm National Park.
This area of outstanding beauty contains some of Scotland’s most treasured landscapes and rare wildlife. Vast ancient forests, hidden lochs and heather-clad moorlands flank the famous River Spey and its tributaries while the snow-capped hills of the Cairngorm range provide a dramatic backdrop.
A diverse range of wildlife can be found around Kincraig including red squirrels, golden eagles and crested tits. With Loch Insh at its centre there are plenty of year-round outdoor activities and watersports for all the family including gliding, golf, riding, archery, orienteering, and limitless cycling tracks are available throughout the season.
