A tranquil but thriving hamlet at the head of Loch Ard, Kinlochard sits 4 miles (6.5km) west of Aberfoyle and is surrounded by fertile farmland lying to the north of the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park.
Due to its location, it is a popular haunt of outdoor enthusiasts with the Go Country Adventure Park offering a range of activities including gorge walking, kayaking, climbing, abseiling and cliff jumping.
A local walking route takes you up a steep but short climb for spectacular views over Loch Ard, Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and scenic panoramas over the Trossachs.
