Limekilns is a lovely village on the shore of the Firth of Forth, west of the port of Rosyth, in west Fife.
The oldest building in Limekilns is the King’s Cellar, which dates back to the early to mid 16th century.
Throughout its history, this coastal village has been involved in limestone, shipbuilding, soap making and brewing industries. Today, you can enjoy a bite to eat in one of the pubs and restaurants which overlook the River Forth.
