The small and remote village of Mey is located in the north coast of Scotland in Caithness.
The town is host to one of only two Highland games that enjoys Royal patronage. This annual event is usually attended by HRH The Duke of Rothesay who follows in the footsteps of his grandmother, the Queen Mother, who for a number of years regularly attended the games.
Around 1 mile north east of the town sits the beautiful Castle of Mey overlooking the stunning Mey Bay.
