Directions

Road Directions

Both villages lie near the entrance of Glen Devon at the eastern end of the ‘Hillfoot towns’ which skirt the southern edge of the Ochil Hills. This location makes Muckhart an ideal base for exploring the southern Ochil Hills.

The Muckhart loop is also a popular walk in the area. This route will take you through the forests and flowers of Geordies Wood, part of the Muckhart Nature Park.

The two pretty conservation villages have an 18th century coaching inn and a 19th century tollhouse which was used by cattle drovers and coaches. The Muckhart Golf Club has three 9-hole courses.
