The term Muckhart commonly refers to two small villages which lie next each other, Pool of Muckhart and Yetts o’ Muckhart.
The Muckhart loop is also a popular walk in the area. This route will take you through the forests and flowers of Geordies Wood, part of the Muckhart Nature Park.
The two pretty conservation villages have an 18th century coaching inn and a 19th century tollhouse which was used by cattle drovers and coaches. The Muckhart Golf Club has three 9-hole courses.
