Niel Gow’s Oak is a large oak tree and part of the Craignvinean Forest which runs along the south bank of the River Tay.

Getting there by railway:- Regular train service between Perth and Birnam.

Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports head north to the city of Perth. Then take the A9 northbound for 14 miles/22 km to reach Dunkeld. Take the waymarked Inver Walk described in the excellent Dunkeld and Birnam Walks leaflet.
