The old West Mainland parish of Rendall is situated on Widefirth Bay, looking out to Kirkwall and the northern isles of Orkney.
The Rendall Doocot is a 17th century pigeon home located at the Hall of Rendall. This recently restored doocot is the only one of its kind in Orkney. Hinderayre Bay has a beautiful coastal path for you to explore. The Tingwall Ferry Terminal is located in Rendall and operates a daily ferry link between Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre. There is evidence on an ancient broch located near the ferry terminal.
