With golden sands, rocky formations and plenty of sheltered outcrops, Sango Bay offers visitors the best of everything. With its cliffs, rocks and sand dunes, Sango Bay is one of the most spectacular and varied beaches in the Highlands. It is easily accessible from various car parks. Just above the beach is an excellent campsite and a visitor centre with good local information. The beach offers good surfing.
A short distance to the east of the beach is the famous Smoo Cave. The largest cave in Scotland, it was formed by both the sea and a river.
