The Bay of Skaill is a small bay found on the west Coast of Mainland Orkney. The beautiful beach makes it popular for sand castle building, walking and other outdoor pursuits.
Visible from the Bay of Skaill, the Hole o' Row is a cave worn right through the headland, which causes the sea to break through the hole in dramatic style in rough weather.
Bay of Skaill is close to the famous Neolithic settlement, Skara Brae as well as Skaill House, a mansion built in 1620.
