Edinburgh Trams is the award-winning operator of the city’s tramway with services from every seven minutes to 23 locations across the city, connecting Edinburgh Airport to the heart of the city, Leith and Newhaven.

Edinburgh Trams is the award winning operator of the city’s tramway with services from every seven minutes to 23 locations across the city and Leith. The Edinburgh tram route covers 18km from Newhaven all the way to Edinburgh Airport. Popular stops include Newhaven, Foot of the Walk, Picardy Place, Princes Street, Ingliston Park & Ride and Edinburgh Park Central (business park).

Connect with trains at Edinburgh Gateway, Edinburgh Park Station and Haymarket. Waverley Station is just a short walk from St Andrew Square. The service runs 7 days a week, 364 days of the year (no service Christmas Day).

You can buy your tram ticket at each of the tram stop platforms, online at edinburghticket.com or on the Transport for Edinburgh app which is free to download.
