This family-run company can trace its origins back to 1930 when Jackie Robinson and Davie Morrison started a general store. As well as running the shop, they also did some private vehicle hire in the local area. By 2004, the transport side of the business had developed considerably and Jackie's son Graham took it over, renaming it Robinson Transport. Today the fleet consists of vehicles from 4 – 43 seaters used on a variety of work including school contracts, private hire, stage carriage and tours.
With increasing visitor numbers to Shetland in recent years, the tourism side of the business continues to grow. The company now offers a range of services, including pre-planned and tailor-made bus tours for individuals and groups, as well as walking tours and guided walks. See our tours listing - Go Shetland Tours - for further details.
