Vintage double decker buses with original 1960s interiors and open platforms - we specialise in bespoke tours, transfers and events in and around Edinburgh.

The Red Bus is Edinburgh's only operator of authentic, unmodified Routemaster buses in original working condition. These are the iconic vehicles that used to serve London for five decades.

We currently operate three Routemasters, each seating 64 passengers, which we provide with driver and conductor, complete with original Gibson ticket machine.

A ride on The Red Bus is fun, stylish and guaranteed to turn heads.
Our buses feature the inimitable Douglas Scott interiors, with tartan moquette seats, chrome poles and tungsten lighting.

Our clients include major destination management companies from around the UK, as well as arts and entertainment organisations.
We have also been a venue for Edinburgh Fringe Festival events – in 2016 we will again host Java Dance from New Zealand for their sellout show, Back of the Bus.

We can provide Blue Badge Guides in all major languages and partner with caterers to serve food and drinks onboard when requested.
