Our location is by the sea, perfect to watch activity in Oban Bay, a 10 minute walk to the centre of town, served by a bus route or a taxi from the centre of town is very reasonable. Oban has a wide variety of cafes and restaurants for breakfasts, lunch and dinner. Not to mention ice cream, cakes, chocolate, seafood and whisky! We are in the perfect location to discover the delights of Argyll, the Isles and further afield.

Arriving in Oban from the north, the A85 follows the steep hill leading you down towards Oban Bay.

1st roundabout, take a right towards the sea, 2nd roundabout take a right, keeping the sea on your left.

Barriemore is now approx 200yards further on on your right, opposite the War Memorial.

From the south, the A816 leads you into the town centre.

At Argyll Square, follow the road round the roundabout to the right.

Follow the main road through town, keeping the sea on your left and the shops on your right.

At the next roundabout take a left exit and Barriemore is now approx 200yards further on on your right.

Getting there by railway:- From Station Square, the hotel is a 10 minute walk or a short taxi ride away.

Getting there by ferry:- From Station Square. The hotel is a 10 minute walk or a short taxi ride away.

By Bus, from the main Bus station in the centre of Oban (adjacent to the train station and ferry terminal) the Ganavan bus, stops directly opposite Barriemore B&B.
