We offer you the warmest of welcomes at Bengairn Country Lodges. What an opportunity to get away from it all, to recharge your batteries and be at one with nature in our 4 contemporary lodges on the banks of our loch on our family-run farm. Close to the coastal village of Auchencairn on the Solway Firth,in the heart of the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright where our lovely little towns and villages will make you feel at home.

Bengairn Country Lodges is a relatively new development with our first 2 lodges opening in 2021, our third in 2022 and our last in 2023. Named after trees found locally (and all girls'names) Hazel, Rowan, Holly and Willow, nestle on the banks of Bengairn Loch where an abundance of wildlife and a stunning landscape provide the backdrop to a bespoke self-catering lodge experience with every luxury you would expect. Situated in the heart of the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright, Bengairn Country Lodges offers the ideal base to tour the length and breadth of Dumfries and Galloway, whether by car or by bike. Our lodges offer the ideal space for travelling as a couple or with family and friends, and all are dog friendly. Surrounded by our working livestock farm, the lodges have a birds eye view of the day to day activities - watch our collie dogs working with sheep or cattle, enjoy the spectacle of geese and swans on the loch or marvel at the wonder of the universe from the comfort of your hot tub on your private patio.

Bedrooms – 1 king-size and 1 super king (which can be made into 2 twin beds on request)
2 en-suite showers rooms with WCs (one shower over bath, one walk-in-shower)
Electric oven, microwave, gas hob, Tassimo coffee maker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer
Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker in the lounge and Smart TVs in both bedrooms
Private hot tub – Bathrobes and towels provided
1 small / medium sized dog welcome in all lodges
Enclosed balcony with seating area, hot tub and BBQ
Ample off-road parking
An electric car charger is available for your use at no extra cost.
Secure bike storage is available in the Old Curling Hut, complete with an electricity supply for e-bike charging.
