Caithness View Luxury Farm Lodges in the North of Scotland are 4 miles from the NC500. The lodges sleep up to 6 people and have luxury facilities. There are acres of beautiful, south facing farmland to explore and amazing views to enjoy.
Caithness View Luxury Farm Lodges may be a long way from the nearest city but that is the attraction. The most Northerly County in the UK Caithness offers great opportunities to explore wild landscapes, sheltered woodlands, fertile farmlands, soaring sea cliffs and deserted beaches.
The lodges allow visitors to have an authentic experience of the 'great outdoors’ and ‘getting back to nature’ with the added luxury of very comfy beds and soft furnishings.
We have carefully and painstakingly developed this peaceful environment to allow visitors to relax in comfortable, spacious surroundings not to mention the wonderful outlook to be seen.
The two luxury lodges, Morven Lodge and Pelican Lodge each sleep up to 6 people and include a shower room, a living area with sofa bed, a kitchen area, a double bed and a further separate twin bedroom. The beautiful vaulted ceilings in each spacious lodge sets them apart from the rest.
There is private parking to the rear of each lodge and a private lawn at the front. The large decked area has benches and a table for alfresco dining. On cooler days you can ‘eat out’ in your private, cosy BBQ hut. Crockery, cutlery and all the necessary BBQ utensils are provided.
Caithness View is open year round and whatever time of year you choose to visit, there’s always plenty going on at the farm. Springtime is of course the lambing season and guests can get involved in feeding the pet lambs. In the summer the silage is cut and there is a great deal of activity with up to 5 tractors operating in the field to get all the grass (silage) cut and stored. In winter, daily feeding of livestock both in the sheds and out in the fields is a key task.
Caithness View Lodges offers you the opportunity to enjoy a simpler way of life, which you can share with friends and family, and experience farming lifestyle at the same time. The County of Caithness has many wonderful places to visit and things to do. For more information please see www.caithnessview/thingstodo
