The perfect escape for two. Crofters Retreat was originally part of the little barn & is our self catering option at Galson Farm. Nestled within the old cobbled stone courtyard with sea & coastal views towards the North Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a unique experience in a coastal location on a working croft. Sleeping two in a luxury King size bed within an open plan lounge/sleeping area with cosy seating Smart HD TV, free Wi-Fi, separate kitchen, shower room, gardens with outdoor seating & parking. Beach access is a short walk away.

Escape to the Outer hebrides and enjoy a stay with a difference in our cosy self catering for two. Crofter's Retreat is the perfect base from which to explore the Isles of Lewis & Harris. Sleeping two in a luxury Kingsize bed within an open plan sleeping & lounge space with a cosy sofa to watch TV. Excellent Wi-Fi & heating throughout. A seperate fully equipped kitchen/diner with fridge cooker, microwave & everything you need to cook. Shower room with complimentary toiletries & towels. Outdoor seating area or you can relax & enjoy the views from the old walled garden. Originally part of the little barn at Galson Farm Crofters Retreat is nestled in the old cobbled stone courtyard enjoying everchanging sea & coastal views of the North Atlantic Ocean. The farm is now a small working croft so you have the opportunity to experience life on a croft, meet the sheep with their lambs or stroll around Croft 19 with panoramic coastal views, seating & a picnic area. A short walk from the doorstep takes you to South Galson beach and access to miles of coastal walking, taking in sandy coves, rugged coastline, abundance of seabirds & wildlife or you may encounter otter or spot the golden or sea eagle soaring overhead. Close to attractions such as the Butt of Lewis lighthouse, the golden sands of Eoropie beach, Port of Ness with its pretty harbour & stunning beach, the beautful little cove at Port Stoth, Ness Museum, Ballantrushal single standing stone, Callanish Stones & The Blackhouse Village. North Lewis offers an excellent selection of places to eat, drink and shop.

By road from Stornoway take the A857 North to Barvas approx 12 miles then continue on the road following the signs right to Ness. Galson Farm is approx 8 miles ahead and is signposted on the main road as you enter South Galson.

From Stornoway bus staion take the W1 to Ness. Approx 20 miles North is South Galson
