Established over 30 years ago as a Guest House and now part of a working croft.

Our 4 double en suite bedrooms are uniquely decorated with accents of Harris Tweed & furnished to a high standard with super comfy beds, complimentary organic tea's, coffee & biscuits, mini fridge, luxury towels, toiletries & quality cotton bedlinen.

There are two characterful relaxing guest lounges with views into the garden and seaviews.

Availble to order on Sunday evening is our indulgent cold Sharing Platter for two using the best Hebridean & Scottish produce & enjoy a drink from our selection of wine, spirits & beers to accompany your meal.

A traditional dry stone wall encloses our pretty little garden, here you can enjoy panoramic coastal views of the Atlantic Ocean towards the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse.

We offer a self catering option at Crofters Retreat for two, ideal for those who want to relax & holiday at your own pace. Converted from the barn & self contained with a private entrance & parking. It has a super comfy King size bed, HD TV, Wi-Fi, sofa, a separate fully equipped kitchen & shower room with luxury towels & toiletries.

Just 5 minutes walk to the beach with miles of coastal walking connecting you with nature & rewarding you with sandy coves, rugged coastline, seabirds, wildlife & maybe a sea eagle soaring above or a glimpse of the otters returning from the sea.

The west coast & area of Ness offers the golden beach of Eoropie, the stunning cove at Port Stoth & the pretty harbour at the Port of Ness. Watch the dramatic ocean waves crash against the rocks at the Butt of Lewis & seabirds or catch a sight of dophin or whales that may pass by. Birdwatchers can see rare arctic birds at Loch Stiapabhat nature reserve. Visit Ness Museum, historical & ancient monuments along with many of the locations from The Lewis Trilogy by Peter May. Gaelic language is widely spoken in our local area & there is strong sense of culture and heritage. We are also within easy reach of The Callanish stones, Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, Bosta beach & Uig

Finish your long summer days & watch the sunset over the Atlantic from our garden & in wintertime the nights make way for some of the best dark skies in the UK. On a clear night you may experience the northern lights & see the milky way in all its glory.
