Luxury en-suite glamping pod, Dufftown. 2 of which have large wood fired hot tubs. Hillside Havens is a family owned business, established in 2017 by husband and wife team Derek and Eleanor. A dedicated micro site located within family owned farmland, the luxury glamping pods offer guests the opportunity to relax in peaceful surroundings all year round. The site is ideally located within walking distance of Dufftown - arguably the Malt Whisky Capital of the World! Indeed Speyside is rich in whisky, food, culture and coastlines so you will have no trouble filling your days during your stay! Dufftown

Set on a micro site, the four pods are set apart from each other to maximise privacy, and are ideal if you want to rent the whole site for a gathering of family or friends. We have recently added 2 x large wood fired hot tubs to 2 of the pods, both of these pods have their own private enclosed garden area with 6ft wooden fence surrounding and also a large gazebo over the hot tub so it can be enjoyed in most weather.
Each pod is maintained to a high standard, and enjoys panoramic views over Dufftown and the surrounding countryside. With outdoor seating on the decking and a fire pit/BBQ on the patio you can relax outdoors surrounded by nature. Due to the location, the pods are ideally placed for star gazing with very little light pollution from nearby Dufftown.
The pods are tastefully decorated and fully equipped to ensure that you have all that you need for your glamping experience. High speed internet connection is standard, and the wall mounted TV/DVD player has free view and is Netflix enabled. The equipped micro kitchen has a 2 ring hob and microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and toaster. A table and chairs and sofa bed ensure that there is plenty of seating undercover to enjoy home cooked meals.
The roomy ensuite shower room has an electric power shower, heated towel rail, vanity mirror.
Underfloor heating and superior insulation ensure that you are kept cosy all year round, and can enjoy every season and all of the natural beauty it has to offer.
Ideally located less than a kilometre from Dufftown, guests can walk along a safe hardcore path to enjoy a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes in town. A further walk will take you to distilleries, Balvenie Castle, and a vintage railway that operates during peak seasons.
Dogs are welcome on our site but an additional cleaning charge of £20 per stay will be payable on arrival.
