Inverfyne Cottage in Cairndow, Argyll, has a fabulous position above the estuary of the River Fyne with superb views to the head of Loch Fyne. Surrounded by quiet farmland on a 4,000 acre traditional country estate, this spacious holiday home is the ideal setting from which to discover the west coast of Scotland.

The house is traditionally furnished in a relaxed country style. The living room with its open log fire creates the perfect focal point for gathering of an evening. This spacious room, with armchairs and sofas at one end and a dining table at the other, has a glass door leading to the enclosed garden – the perfect place to enjoy summer drinks while watching the sunset over Loch Fyne. There’s also a piano for those who play! A utility room, kitchen, two twin bedrooms and a bathroom complete the ground floor. Upstairs you’ll find two further bedrooms and a bathroom. Each of the four bedrooms has views.

Inverfyne is a beautiful area with many stunning walks. Not only is the surrounding landscape home to a range of wildlife such as red squirrels, otters, pine marten and deer, but it’s paradise for the keen birdwatcher. The estate has trout fishing and deer stalking available by separate arrangement.
