Perfect for a last minute break in the Cairngorms!* Spacious & unique one-bedroomed 4* cottage near centre of Ballater, Royal Deeside, in the Cairngorms National Park. Ballater has many amenities - cafes, pubs & restaurants, the Old Royal Railway Station, specialist gift shops, outdoor shop, golf course, bike hire etc. Balmoral Castle & the nearby Lochnagar & Loch Muick locally, as well as nature reserves inc. the Mar estate featured on Winterwatch. Cottage is ideal for a couple but sleeps 2 adults + 1 child. Suitable for those with restricted mobility as all on one floor. On main bus route from Aberdeen. Secluded & exclusive one-bedroomed cottage close to centre of lovely village of Ballater. It comprises lounge with cloakroom adjoining, kitchen, family sized bedroom with king-size bed and single bed and an en-suite bathroom. Leading from patio doors in the lounge there is a decked patio with sunny aspect overlooking the garden and facing the beautiful Craigendarroch hill. Sky TV has been installed and Wi-Fi is provided.

The accommodation has the benefit of being close to the centre of the village yet being in a secluded spot. Almost all amenties are within walking distance. The Newsagents' is only about a minute's walk away as is the Old Royal Railway Station. The village has many varied and interesting shops many of which have a Royal Warrant.

The area is known for its Royal connections, Balmoral Castle and the Royal Lochnagar Distillery, also walking, cycling, golfing, fishing and castle and whisky trails. Cycle hire nearby. There is a lovely Golf course in Ballater as well as many in the area. Take in the beautiful scenery of the Cairngorms National Park - the nature reserves at Muir of Dinnet & Loch Muick & the Mar Lodge estate recently featured on Winterwatch.

Strictly non-smoking. Sorry, no pets.
