The Park has access to the blonde sandy beaches of Prestwick and Troon and is flanked either side by Royal Troon Golf Course and Old Prestwick, birth place of The OPEN. Flat, grassy, well drained, fully serviced EURO pitches (from £20 per night) and beautifuly maintained grounds. The Park has a laundry room and a pub. The pub is a hive of activity, with blazing coal fire, multi screen TV and a warm welcome. It has regular entertainment, bingo, karaoke and free WI FI. Whilst this is a bustling little hub, The Park itself is peaceful and quiet. A great place to relax.
The local towns of Prestwick and Troon have lots of bars, cafes and shops to explore. Trains stopping at Prestwick Airport Station every half hour, running between Ayr and the city of Glasgow (Central Station). Good road connections to M77 Glasgow. On the cycle path route 7. On Ayrshire Coastal Path route 7 with stunning views of the sea, travelled by Outlander's Jamie Fraser. Easy to get to, but a great place to 'escape to'. Ayrshire, Arran and the Southern Hebrides have a vast exciting Heritage, History and Archaeology to explore. There are lots of outdoor pursuits to keep all enthralled. - From Glasgow to Ayr, M77 follow the sign posts for Prestwick Airport. At the Monkton roundabout take right on A78, at next roundabout go straight on A79
- From the M8 though Coylton and Cumnock on 78From Ardrossan Ferry A78 passed Irvine to the Monkton Roundabout. Turn right on to A79
- From Ayrshire Coastal route follow A719 to A79
- From Dumfries and Galloway follow A713 to the A77. Take right on A77 to the Monkton roundabout. Go straight through onto A78 to the next round about. Go straight throught this roundabout to the A79
- Getting there by railway:- Prestwick Airport Station. From there head north on to A79 for 400 metres. Take 1st left turning at the flags and signboard.
- Getting there by aeroplane:- From Prestwick Airport head north on to A79 for 400 metres. Take 1st left turning at the flags and signboard.
- Getting there by bus:- The X77 bus from Ayr to Glagow will stop at Prestwic Airport on the A79. Follow the footpath along the A79 to the flags and sign board.
