Luxury accommodation in Cromarty, the Highland’s best preserved historic town, offering great food and beautuful bedrooms.

The Factor’s House is set in private grounds overlooking the Cromarty Firth, just a short walk to the beach and harbour, quaint shops, bars and eating places.

Three lovely en suite bedrooms have been individually designed with thoughtful touches to create a stylish and luxurious space. The en-suites have either roll top bath with overhead shower or a walk in shower, and a selection of both homemade organic and luxury toiletries.The bedrooms have a selection of teas, coffee and homemade biscuits and are made up with best quality Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels, bathrobes and a choice of homemade essential oil and luxury toiletries. There is a TV with DVD player along with a selection of DVDs to watch during your stay. There is also free WiFi most of the time .Being in the Highlands can mean an unpredictable signal !

Guests also have use of a private lounge with open fire and comfortable sofas and our garden to relax and unwind

Previously as chef patrons of a Highland hotel, winning an AA rosette has set the benchmark for the food we serve. Breakfast includes a fantastic selection of locally sourced produce, organic where possible, along with homemade breads, pastries and preserves.

The Factor’s House is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, a base for cycling or mountain biking, golfing, hill and coastal walking, dolphin and wildlife watching or just for relaxing. Cromarty is packed full of history dating from medieval times with Cromarty Courthouse and Hugh Millers House both within walking distance.
