Housed in a beautiful B-listed building, The Pipers’ Tryst Hotel is a comfortable home-from-home located in the heart of theatre-land in Glasgow’s vibrant city centre.

Connected to The National Piping Centre this restaurant, hotel, and venue is perfect for a city getaway, special celebration, romantic weekend away, or family break.

This charming Scottish property, which recently gained 4 stars, boasts a fresh and homely feeling with bespoke bedframes, large flat screen TVs, complimentary fast speed WIFI and welcome drams of the finest malt whisky. All bedrooms are en-suite with double headed rainfall showers, large vanity areas, fine Scottish organic soaps and fluffy towels. All rates include a continental buffet-style breakfast and optional Scottish cooked breakfasts.

The Pipers’ Tryst Hotel is housed within The National Piping Centre, an educational facility fostering The Great Highland Bagpipe. All profits from the hotel and commercial business directly funds and supports the companies’ tuition business. Therefore every purchase made is supporting this historic instrument!

The Pipers’ Tryst Restaurant showcases the best food Scotland has to offer. Winner of ‘Best Bar Dining 2016’ at the Scottish Hotel Awards, this little restaurant has an extensive menu of fresh Scottish seafood, traditional haggis, home comforts, Ayrshire ham, fresh corrie eggs, imaginative vegetarian options and a cool children’s menu. A large collection of malt whiskies grace the gantry, small batch bespoke Scottish gins feature and finally a handpicked wine list will leave you satisfied and pleased you made the visit!

All residents are at liberty to visit The Museum of Piping to try and play the chanter or give the bagpipes a blow. During the summer season a Bagpiper Host is on duty to teach visitors and instruct on how to play this challenging instrument! Our staff are friendly and welcoming and work hard to ensure your visit is a memorable one.
