Situated in the idyllic grounds of Thirlestane Castle & on the edge of the Royal Burgh of Lauder, we are at the gateway to Scotland - highlands in the north & within striking distance of Glasgow & Edinburgh. Fantastic nearby fishing & golf.

Thirlestane Castle Caravan Park is an established Scottish Tourist Board/VisitScotland 4 Star Small Holiday Park in 2024/25. Just 5 minutes walk from local restaurants, pubs and shops, the park is equally well located for Tourers and Campers wishing to find a central base from which to explore the many attractions of the Scottish Borders. The park is a peaceful, gentle site favoured by walkers, families and those wanting to shed the skin of the modern world. With some of the finest scenery in Scotland, the borders has much to offer - nearby activities include fishing, biking, horse riding, and golf and for walkers the Southern Upland Way can be accessed within just 300 meters. For those with an interest in history, the borders has many of the finest houses and castle to explore including; Melrose Abbey, Traquair House, Mellerstain, Abbortsford and of course Thirlestane Castle. For those wishing to visit Edinburgh, this is an easy 45-minute car journey.

For our tourers and campers we have a laundry area, modern toilet and washing facilities with free showers and hot water. Most of our pitches have electric hook ups.
