A comfortable dog friendly detached property set in a quarter acre of woodland garden at the foot of Carstramon woods.An ancient woodland famous for its stunning annual display of bluebells.
The cottage sleeps six in three bedrooms,one king and two doubles.
We have a wood burner and central heating for cosy nights in, big comfy sofas and comfortable beds with quality linen.
The cottage is well equipped including Wifi, TV with freeview, dvd player with dvds, X-box 360 and games and books.
Outside, our large enclosed garden has a brick BBQ, seating for six, and with no near neighbours, its the perfect place to relax,unwind and watch the red squirrels and the passing deer.
We are just two miles outside of the village with its friendly pubs, eateries and shops. Gatehouse is popular with both walkers and cyclists.
We are just 30 minutes drive to the Galloway forest, and only a 15 minute drive to several local beaches.
There are many activities in the area with the Laggan outdoor centre,The Cream of Galloway,The Cocoa Bean factory, golfing and fishing .Guests of every age will have plenty to see and do.
