The menu at 11 is made up of some of Scotland's best local ingredients. Local suppliers provide high quality seafood, as well as meat, cheeses, fruit and vegetables.
Our fabulous chef, Willie Lonnie, brings his own unique style and approach to the table. His passion, dedication and confidence are evident in his menu's.
Willie has introduced wild foods into his highly imaginative and beautifully presented dishes using traditionally foraged ingredients such as wild mushrooms and herbs to name just a few, foraged daily for us by Ben Robertson, the expert forager.
The final touch to a perfect meal, home made rich chocolate truffles served with a choice of original teas and coffees.
11 is located within a five minute walk from the Central Edinburgh Playhouse. The inviting Brasserie is set in a listed Georgian Townhouse, where key traditional features have been restored to their former Georgian glory, such as the high ceiling, elaborate cornicing and central rose.
In addition to the above, local artist, Nicola Cairns was commissioned to paint a large Mural on the main Brasserie wall. The Mural reflects key elements and characters from the Scottish Enlightenment period and is a regular discussion point for diners.
