The Ayrshire Athletics Arena is set amongst a sporting environment of athletics, cricket, rugby, judo, gymnastics and football facilities in Kilmarnock’s very own Sports Park. A range of events and activities take place here throughout the year from 10k races and Athletics Championships to all ability bikes, tots athletics and multi sport activities.
The Ayrshire Athletics Arena was base camp for Team Scotland during the 2014 Commonwealth Games and hosts a number of large scale sporting events throughout the year including the West District Championships and the annual Roon the Toon 10k.It offers a range of fun kids activities and family events throughout the year too including tots athletics and multi sport sessions. The Arena also has All Ability Cycles for children and adults who have a physical or learning disability or have impaired balance the chance to fully and freedom of cycling.
It has been designed to meet the highest of training and competition requirements for a wide range of athletes, sports clubs, schools and community groups.
