Venturing Out

The East Coast of Scotland is a mecca for water sports, so it's no surprise that it is one of the best places for paddleboarding. Feel like you're walking on water with a 90-minute taster session. You'll be taken through all the basics, from turning to paddling backwards and forwards, with the friendly instructors with you every step of the way. Although the water may be on the chilly side, Venturing Out will provide you with wetsuits to help your body adapt to the water temperatures.

Tree-ditions

Holidays are a great excuse to try something new. Get back to nature and immerse yourself in the woods with a bushcraft experience. Learn all the ins and outs of what it takes to survive out in the wild, from finding and making water safe for drinking, to lighting your own fire. Put your crafting skills to the test by making your own furniture like chairs and stools. You never know, if it's good enough you might want to proudly display this in your home.

East of Scotland Microlights

We're taking things to new heights on our final stop for today, (quite literally)! Discover the freedom and control of flying a microlight aircraft. Enjoy a 30-minute introduction session where your pilot will take you through the basic controls until you're ready to fly solo. During your time in the air, view East Lothian from above where you will fly over beautiful beaches, famous golf courses and let's not forget the Bass Rock - home to the world's largest gannet colony!

Don't worry if you're a nervous flyer, you'll be in the safe hands of an experienced instructor and will take over just as you're about to land.
