The magnificent manor house is located in 120 acres of woodland on the shores of Loch Awe, Scotland's third largest freshwater loch. The grade 2 listed building was designed by one of Scotland's most renowned 19th century architects, William Burn (1789-1870). Its standalone bridal/honeymoon suite is the Boat Shed, lapped by the waters of the loch.

Ardanaiseig has 16 bedrooms plus a cottage in the grounds, and showcases eccentric ornaments and antique furniture.

Transport From the nearest information centre:- From Oban, take the A85 North East through Taynuilt, just outside the village of Taynuilt take a right turn (signposted Kilchrenan.

Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow Airport follow signs for Erskine Bridge then follow signs for Loch Lomond, take the A82 to Crianlarich then onto Tyndrum, from Tyndrum take the A85 to Taynuilt. Just before the Village of turn left (signposted Kilchrennan then follow signs to Ardanaiseig Hotel.
