The cottage is one of four, situated in a tranquil setting in a secluded forest clearing, yet only 2 miles from the picturesque and bustling village of Killin and Loch Tay. It is within a 2 hour drive of the cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Perth so perfectly situated to explore much of Scotland. The cottage is detached, and with its enclosed garden, makes it ideal for small children and dogs.
This is an excellent base for a Scottish holiday and the cottage is located in an ideal setting for outdoor pursuits of every kind from hill walking, fishing, golf, cycling and water -sports or just enjoying the breathtaking scenery. It is close to many local attractions, including Finlarig Castle, the Falls of Dochart, Blair Drummond Safari Park and Balquhidder Glen (Rob Roy's Grave). It is close to the Rob Roy Way and the No7 Sustrans Cycle Route. Being situated within the Trossachs National Park, Loch Lomond, Loch Katrine and the Ben Lawers mountain range are all easily accessible. There are over 30 Munros within a short drive.
